Guides / Sizes
What size dumpster do you need? 12, 15, or 20 yard
Use a 12 yard for a garage. Use a 15 for a kitchen reno. Use a 20 for a house clear-out. Same driveway footprint.

Pick the size by the pile you can see. Not the pile you hope for. A second trip costs more than the jump from 12 to 15.
12 yard — garage, basement, small deck
$335.00 for seven days. 1 ton included. 44 inches high, so you can throw over the side without a ladder. Furniture, boxes, a powder room, a small bathroom, a deck tear-off.
If the pile is already higher than the fence and you have not started demo, skip this size.
15 yard — kitchen or bathroom reno
$375.00, 1.5 tons, 54 inches high. Cabinets, drywall, flooring, a tub, a few rooms of junk. This is the default reno bin in Edmonton.
20 yard — whole house or construction
$425.00, 2 tons, 72 inches high. Roof tear-off, more than one floor of reno, a move-out that already filled the garage. Check overhead wires, tree limbs, and the garage door track. The box is the same length as the 12. It is just taller.
Weight vs volume
Shingles, dirt, sod, and concrete pack weight fast. A 12 can look half empty and still blow the included ton. Tell us if the load is heavy. We would rather send the right bin than surprise you with $99.00 a ton.
Household junk, wood, and bagged trash fill volume first. Those jobs miss the weight cap more often than they miss the rim. Still: load below the rail. An overfilled bin does not leave.
Same driveway space
89 by 168 inches for every size. If a 12 fits, a 20 fits in plan view. Height is the only fight. Book the size on the form or start from bin rental Edmonton prices.
