Household junk, wood, drywall, furniture, and bagged trash are fine. The landfill bills us when the load is dirty. A short list stays out.

Do not load these

  • Paint, solvents, oil, gas, antifreeze, and other liquids.
  • Batteries and e-waste.
  • Tires.
  • Propane tanks and compressed gas.
  • Medical waste.
  • Asbestos. Hard no.
  • Fridges and freezers until the refrigerant is pulled.

Edmonton Eco Stations take a lot of that household hazardous stuff. Use them. Do not hide a can of oil under the drywall. The scale house finds it. You get the bill.

Heavy loads that are allowed if you say so

Dirt, sod, and concrete can go in when we set the job up that way. They are dense. A half-full bin of concrete can exceed the included tons. Tell us before you book so we send the right box and you are not shocked by $99.00 a ton.

What the contamination fee is

If a prohibited item shows up at the landfill, the fee starts at $250.00 plus whatever they charge to handle it. That is not a scare line. It is the floor. Email Yegbossbins@gmail.com before you toss something you cannot name. Cheaper than a surprise invoice.

Load below the rim. An overfilled bin stays on your driveway until you pull material off. That delay is on you, not the truck. More on how the rental works.
